Molto più di un semplice museo.Una vera e propria esposizione enciclopedica di strumenti folk e un molti casi sconosciuti da ogni parte del mondo.Unico per atmosfera e fascino.Oer gli amanti della musica e non solo.Entrare equivale ad una vera e propria esperienza e non ad una semplice visita.Imperdibile sotto ogni punto di vista!!

A quality old-school establishment with the best selection of folk instruments in the county. Part-museum-part-store, the employees are knowledgeable and friendly. After buying a banjo here they had a couple suggestions for teachers. Also, check out their open mic nights!

Location:Good, Parking : Okay, Service: knowledgeable, instruments: varied. Overall: First time stop and was amazed at the amount of unique instruments they had. Glad to see that this kind of place still exists when many have gone by the wayside. The area was not busy, so I can not rate as to how business is doing. I do wish this local seller continued success as it seems they have a decent clientele based on other reviews.

I have been coming here since I was a kid. I have boughten many djembe drums, stickers, medallions, tapestries and albums. Support this place, it is all about music, culture and art. Not only that, this is Ben Harper's shop and stomping ground. This place is special and unique. I love it here

Beautiful little gem in Claremont Village. You will find some interesting instruments there and, if you ask, the owners (nice people) are there to help you even if you want to try some of the instruments.

Ripped off!!! I would never have a drum reskinned here again. I was so excited that I found what seemed like a reputable place to trust to reskin my Djembe. At first I was excited to play it again but that feeling was quickly deflated when I realized he put the rings way to high making it flush with the head so when you play the bottom of your hand hits the ring and rope knuckles through the drum skin. With there being no gap between the rim top of the drum and the drumhead rings/rope knuckles this causes bruising of the hand and makes it impossible to fully utilize the drum to its full potential. The head was not the white haired I wanted and was left overhanging super long and uneven. To top it off the original handle that was nice and tightly wound properly was gone and some ratty handle in place of it that consisted of a rope that had knots tied along it. It's really sad because this one of a kind Djembe with its wide ranging tones from the sharpest rim tones that can cut through the loudest drum circle to the deepest bass vibrations over powering some the loudest sound systems even making my DJ friends envious! Now I play it and it's just not the same after playing for a while and my hands getting beat up and bruised it makes me not even want to play it anymore. End result, now I have to pay someone else to reskin my djembe properly and bring it back to its former glory!!!

Travelled from Wisconsin earlier this spring and visited this store. Friendly atmosphere for any age and enthusiast level. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!
