this is a follow up to a visit that was partly good and partly ignorant. the skin tag removal was excellent - no scar no discoloration, however. the rash on my cheeks turned out to be streptococcus. there was no skin swab test done, the wrong medication was prescribed and it took a subsequent bloom that moved to my arm to get the "right doctor" to do what a "doctor" should be doing - investigate thoroughly , research completely, and answer with corrective measures. streptococcus is dangerous and i feel this doctor put me in danger through ignorance.

During my first visit, she didn't go through the details of the medications that she was prescribing, and just handed off two pieces of paper with the information about the medication. She spent less than 5 minutes with me. I gave her the benefit of doubt, and just thought it was a busy day for her. I ended up having to research by myself all of the information that the dermatologist should have told me herself.

The same thing happened on my second visit, where I was in her office for less than 5 minutes. When I told her about the side effects of the medications that she first prescribed to me, she told me "you're not supposed to use this medication with your original skincare routine". She literally never mentioned anything about that during the first visit, and all she did was hand off two sheets of paper on how to use the medication.

Consequently, I was also getting a bit annoyed because she expected me to know this information that she never told me.
She seemed rushed, and it felt like she wanted me to get out of there as soon as possible by suggesting that I purchase this cream that they had at their clinic. It felt like she was trying to sell things off to me, rather than actually addressing my needs as a patient.

Overall, I did not appreciate her as a doctor. She doesn't seem to care for her patients, and it often feels like she's trying to sell off products rather than actually taking care of the dermatology needs.

Very professional. I've seen her a few times. Each time she explained what she was doing and why as well as what she removed. Everything was explained to me, questions were answered. She did send out some things for a biopsy, but it was to double-check her initial diagnosis. I see this as being thorough. I read some of the other reviews and I do agree that my first time there she taught me about the importance of sunscreen. She did have products available for purchase which seemed odd at a doctor's office. But she also gave me recommendations for off the shelf/over the counter sun screens. She educated me on what to look for and what to look out for. I didn't feel rushed, but I do see how some may mistake her professional no-nonsense demeanor as rushed. She always answers my questions or will call me back if she doesn't have the answers right away.

I have been a patient of Dr Goldberg since 2009 and she has been very professional and answered all my questions. Her staff has been professional and efficient. I have no complaints, would recommend.

Dr. Goldberg was very attentive to our one year old son who developed a rash on his bum. One week into the recommended treatment, he is almost totally healed.

Last week, she saw my wife who had been sun burned while in Florida. Dr. Goldberg again took the time to answer all of our questions and address our concerns, and provided multiple treatment options along with her recommended path for treatment.

Very thorough, and likeable.

Perhaps those with different experiences here have misread her. Not all personalities are created equal.

We like Dr. Goldberg and certainly recommend her!

You should NOT see Dr. Goldberg at this practice. I am normally a patient of Dr. Berk who is outstanding. I was unable to get in to see Dr. Berk when I needed an urgent appointment so I had to make a walk in appointment with Dr. Goldberg. I now understand why Dr.Goldberg had appointments available...she has terrible bedside manner, did not properly diagnose the issue after two appointments, and was focused on selling me products unrelated to my original concern. Dr. Goldberg should work in sales, not as a doctor. Sadly, her customer service was poor and she was more focused on selling me over $100 worth of products than diagnosing my issue that I was extremely concerned about. ( DO NOT MAKE THAT SAME MISTAKE AND BUY PRODUCTS). The issue I originally went in for went misdiagnosed for two appointments which resulted in her charging me over $200 for the office visits. This $200 added up to about 10 minutes of her rushed time plus the $100 of poor products was not worth it. I pay out of pocket for the appointments since I have a high deductible. I do not mind paying for a visit that resolves the issues but she did not solve the issue. I ended up going to another doctor who was able to identify the issue and resolve it on the first consultation. Dr. Goldberg is focused on selling her expensive products that do not work. Please note there are 8 one star reviews on yelp for this doctor which is alarming! This is extremely high for a doctor if you do your research. I strongly encourage you to work with Dr. Berk and avoid Dr. Goldberg at all cost. Good luck!

COLD COLD hearted everyone. Sadly. Doctor Goldberg hardly smile, she make me feel like a peasant, not welcoming at all, she needs to work in her professional etiquettes, I was treated like beggar/pauper it was very degrading. NEVER AGAIN. Also it has been less than a month they have not waited for my insurance to pay the bill and they sent me a bill to my mailing address. Not even 3 weeks into it and they have not allow my insurance to pay for this ONLY visit. FIRST AND LAST stay away from this "physician"

The nurse who came in to ask questions never looked up from her iPad. She didn’t smile or seem interested in me at all. Then the doctor came in, whom I’ve seen before. She spoke like a robot and acted as if she’s never known me. She hardly smiled and made it a very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience. I will not be coming back.
