Dr Daniel Mc Curdy has been a wonderful doctor as I was a patient for 30+ years. He delivered both of my children. Carol and Dr mc Curdy made a wonderful team. We have been with Dr.MacCurdy and his office for many years and he has delivered all four of our healthy children. They are professional, friendly, trustworthy, and are like a family to my husband and I. We have always been very well taken care of through all our pregnancies and even one miscarriage. I could write a story of all the things Carol and Dr.MacCurdy have done for us but to put it simply they really are the best.

I'm not sure where these bad reviews are coming from. Dr. MacCurdy is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He caught things that my previous physician never even considered. He can be a little quirky and likes to talk a lot but I like that about him. After my surgery he spent so much time at the bedside talking to me and my family. Doctors don't do that anymore and it was refreshing. I am 100% confident that because Dr. MacCurdy was so thorough the surgery I had will be my last. He's given me a new quality of life.

He delivered all 4 of my kids including one set of twins. Every pregnancy he went WAY above and beyond for my wife and unborn baby. She was high risk for several different reasons that I won't get into here. You should know that he is VERY good at what he does. There were MANY times through 4 pregnancies where bad things happened I remember thinking it's a good thing we had Dr MacCurdy and his 30+ years of experience. Some of his stories are a little unorthodox but trust me when S**t hits the fan, HE is the guy that you want in the room.

The staff was quite welcoming and friendly however my experience with Dr Maccurdy was horrible. His bedside manner was terrible, completely out of line with some of his comments (with my mom sitting in the room). I visited his office at 9 months pregnant worried for my unborn son because I had barely felt him move in two days and he blew me off and told me they barely move late in pregnancy. That evening I lost my son. If that wasn't enough the way he treated me during the procedure to deliver my son was worse than I ever though someone could be in that moment. Giving no sympathy. Completely cold towards me. I never want someone to be treated as I was by him. Please learn from my experience avoid seeing him.

Dr. McCurdy has been taking care of my whole family and I for many years. He’s had delivered 9 children from my family. Hes a down to earth person. He does thing with compassion and love. We are blessing to have him taking care of for that many years.

You know not enough people take the time out to write good reviews but people will take the time to write bad reviews and make it seem like this person isn't good at their profession which is a shame. I decided to go to Dr. MacCurdy today because 25 and 23 years ago he delivered my mom kids which turns out to be me and my sister lol and my mom loved him so I felt comfortable to go to the man who delivered me. I think he is amazing, and very professional and knowledgeable. It actually was my first time in years having a male doctor do a check up on me and he made me feel very comfortable, he talked to me about school, he explained everything he was doing so that itself made me even more comfortable. I appreciate the fact he has a sense of humor when doing a job so personal. I recommend him and I'm going to continue to go back to him and I'm confused on why people are saying he's against Birth Control he is not against birth control he simple explains the pros and the cons of certain birth controls which why wouldn't someone want to know the down side of certain kinds of birth control? Remember people just because you see an 6 and I see an 9 doesn't mean I'm wrong your right vice versa.

I had to take a moment to write this review years after the fact as I can't believe this man is still practicing. I would never suggest going to see him based on many reasons. I promise that these are not made up and have stuck with me for over three years:

-Called mentally disabled children "kids with weird faces".

-Immediately after a emergency c section to deliver my still born son he suggested that I "get your wife pregnant
Right away so you can forget about all this."

-Passed open judgment on my wife and I as we had religious views that varied from his.

-Talked about personal and confidential information in front of family and friends.

-Suggested that other doctors and medical professionals outside of himself didn't really know what they were doing. This included people that were going to be part of the delivery.

In hindsight I can't believe we stuck it out with this guy. Please don't make the mistake we did.
