I was operated on by Dr Katzman for a herniated disc. When i woke up, the back pain was worse than before. I was told by Dr Katzman that would be normal. After several weeks and another MRI which showed the herniation worse than before the surgery I decided to go to The Hospital for special surgery in NY and got appropriate treatment. I was told at that hospital that there was also now a fracture on my spine caused by the surgery of Dr Katzman and that I would need a fusion surgery. What’s worse than Dr. Katzman’s poor medical care was his uncaring attitude. After surgery he went back to Florida and it was difficult to get in touch with him again. I strongly recommend that you do not go to him. By the way, I am a physician. Please do not fall for this minimalist surgery baloney. Go to someone reputable. Also, do your research. Dr Katzman claims he is a nationally recognized expert. This is based on his own advertisement. It is fraudulent.

I Remember him telling me he had several weddings and Bragged like he was so Special and we are nothing more than Poor people? He makes you feel as if you are Beneath him! He Loves to take on car accident victims just to collect the money because the payment is Guaranteed,!

He was the surgeon operating on my lower back -- I was going numb in my left leg after herniating my L5-S1 in 2015. Got the microdiscectomy (7/24/16) and now I'm pain-free and medication-free 7 months later! My follow visits were covered under billing for the procedure even after my insurance expired. Amazing, didn't think this was possible!

Scott Katzman was my mom's surgeon. She had some lumbar herniations, as well as, spinal stenosis and to top it off, she had arthritis. She underwent a fusion at Jupiter Medical Center and performed by Scott Katzman, MD and his Physician's Assistant, LewJack. They were so wonderful, knowledgeable and kind. After the surgery, they came in and explained everything that had gone on during surgery to both my Mom and me. Should you have neck or back problems, do yourself a favor and go see Scott Katzman and his staff. They are all top notch!
