Very poor customer service. You can’t even speak to a representative so you can’t call it customer service, it’s customer ignorance. Blatant ignorance. I have tried calling numerous times to speak with an actual person and i just go in circles with the automated system and there is never a resolution. Absolutely terrible. But of course you’re a monopoly so we have no choice but to pay your ridiculous prices with zero break downs of the bill. And if i do actually get a breakdown for once it is incredibly inaccurate! Why am i being charged for an entire month of full power, almost the same exact price as the month prior, when i was on vacation for that month? The only thing plugged in and running was the fridge. You’re just a bunch of scam artists that are trying to weasel every penny you can out of us hardworking people and know we can’t complain to anybody about it and have no choice but to “deal with it”. You should be ashamed of yourselves. You are part of the reason good people are ending up homeless. We can’t afford rent on top of your astronomical prices. Stop the corporate greed.

I attempted to transfer service into my name as a new customer from an existing customer and there is almost no usability of their phone service, it is painful and they request information that you may not have but which is required to move forward within the phone interface. I guess when the automation, which is slow and not customer friendly to begin with, comments on needing the information to help reduce hold times, they really just don't want to interact with a customer at all, thus they have very short hold times, if only you can be put on hold....

I'm not even a customer yet and I hate their support services already.

Paid my bill on time every month since 2015.

My bank paid my latest bill 11.10.23 due date 11.11.23.

FPL tagged my acct in bright red saying payment due with an additional late fee of $5.00.

My bank will call on Monday since it's IMPOSSIBLE to talk to a person.

The payment was withdrawn from my checking and I have the receipt.

I'm extremely angry that a company as big as FPL can't talk to their loyal customers.

Worst Electric company in Florida hands down! Took 6 months to get first bill after asking for it. Then company wanted all 6 months lump sum. I paid it then a couple days later my next bill came and I requested for an extension. Extension was granted for another 30 days but they automatically withdrew the money from my account and never held up their end of the bargain. Had TECO and Duke previously in Florida and was very happy with them. Wish Sarasota had another option than these bozos. SMH!

Worst customer service ever!!! Been trying to get service turned on to a house I bought 2 months ago!! Cannot get a straight answer from anyone. Licensed electrician has tried three times to get Service turned on three times they did not show up three different excuses why they didn’t. It’s been two months and I still don’t have service to a house that I was supposed to be living in already. And now they sent me a bill!!’ For a place I don’t have electric connected to.

Got an automated phone call that my service was being disconnected because a new customer had started service at my address. Um, what?! I hurried up and called and they told me this was a mistake because someone must’ve got a number wrong on the address. I live in a split unit, and my unit specifically says DOWN in the address. So you’re meaning to tell me, that just because somebody confirmed on a totally wrong address with no confirmation from the current customer that my service was disconnected, just like that? That is so scary! I called and they said this is a common mistake and that it would be reversed. Not okay!!
